What Glossa promises, and what it does not

What Glossa is

Glossa is a free, open-source tool that reads a transaction or a signature request and describes it in plain words. It is an independent project, not affiliated with Robinhood. It has no token and never asks you to sign anything.

No guarantee

Glossa is provided as is, without any warranty. It reads requests by fixed rules and can be wrong or incomplete. A calm reading is not a promise that a transaction or signature is safe, and "cannot verify" means exactly that. You decide what you sign, and you are responsible for it. Glossa is not financial, legal or investment advice.

Limits

Glossa does not check whether a contract or an address is trustworthy unless it says so. Market data comes from GeckoTerminal and can be late, missing or wrong. Do not rely on Glossa alone for decisions that matter.

What happens to your data

Pasted transaction data and signatures are decoded in your browser. A transaction hash, a token address or a wallet address you check is sent to our server and, from there, to the Robinhood Chain node, the chain explorer or GeckoTerminal, so that we can look it up. We keep no account for you and set no tracking cookies. If you connect a wallet, Privy handles the connection and we only read your public address; we never ask for a signature or a key.

Shared links

A shared Glossa link opens the explainer with the request it was made for. Only trust it if that is exactly the request your own wallet shows. Someone sending you a Glossa link is not Glossa vouching for anything.

The real Glossa

Glossa never asks you to connect a wallet in order to sign or approve anything, never sells a token or runs an airdrop, never messages you first, and never asks for a seed phrase or a private key.

Use of the API

The public API is free and read-only. Do not overload it. We may limit or block traffic that harms the service for others. If you show Glossa results in your own product, show the decoded facts next to the sentence and never present a result as a guarantee of safety.
